Bowled our last week for the summer last night on the WTBA Montreal pattern. I looked at my average per game for the season so far and noticed that on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th games I averaged between 165-170, and I averaged 197 on my 2nd game. My goal for last night was that I was going to have more than one decent game. Well, I rolled a 168, 184, 167 and 171 the 1st 4 games. I told myself going into the 5th game that this was my last chance to break out of the rut. After opening the 1st 2 frames, I was able to put together a 4 bagger and a turkey for a 224 and a 914 series for 5 games. It felt good to end on a good note. 224 also ended up being my high game for the summer, and I finished out with a 176 average.

Sport League - Week 6 (Stockholm) #bowling_scores
Was expecting to improve on last weeks scores, but it was not to be. It was a struggle at best. I rolled a 185, 179, 160, 174 and 154 for a 852 series (170 average for the night). Strikes were hard to come by, and the lanes broke down more than they did last week. I even needed to move further left on my spare shots. (Took missing two easy single pin spares to the left to realize it.) I am still learning the proper adjustments since I started bowling right handed again. I think I figured out the right adjustment last night, but not until about the 6th frame of the 5th game. Looking forward to next week; we will be rolling on the Montreal (41') pattern.

Sport League - Week 5 (Stockholm) #bowling_scores
Had a rough start, but had a decent night over all. I started off by trying to hook the ball (targeting the 2nd arrow) and I couldn't find any constancy. In the 2nd game, I pulled out my Hammer Ratchet, flattened out my release and targeted the 1st arrow (feet on the 15 board). I stayed with that line the rest of the night and ended up rolling a 159, 202, 192, 178, 202 for a 933 series (186 average for the night). Coincidentally, my series was just 6 pins below my series for last week. This was my 1st time bowing on the pattern, so I expect to do better next week.
