Had a good showing in the Missouri State Tournament (team event). We are currently in 6th place with 2 more weekends left to the tournament (team name is "Pindowners"). (http://www.mousbc.org/standingsopen2012results-event.php?eventCategory=1&Search=Search)
This was my 1st full year bowling left handed and I finished my leagues with a 170 and a 173 average. I felt like I was turning the corner on my spare shooting at the end of the season, and really felt like my scores were starting to pick up. Now I am having problems with my right rotator cuff in my right shoulder, so I haven't been able to practice in a couple of weeks and I don't know if I will be able to bowl over the summer.

1st success changing speeds since switching to the left hand
My league last night was a struggle from the beginning. I started out using my Hammer Toxic and it was rather inconsistent. One time it would hook, and the next time it wouldn't. Half was through the 1st game I decided to move left (I am left handed) and switch to my plastic ball. It took me a couple of frames to get lined up, and I ended up rolling a 140. After switching to my plastic ball at the end of the 1st game, I ended up rolling a 194 the 2nd game. I had one open which was a 5-7 split and rolled 6 strikes (only had one double though). At the end of the 2nd game, my ball was coming in high, and I was having to move right every couple of frames. For the 3rd game, I moved left a couple of boards, moved back on the approach and lowered the starting position of my ball to increase the speed of my ball. Even though I was rolling the ball faster, I had to concentrate on not rushing my feet. I ended up rolling a 234 for the last game with 7 strikes (a double and a 5 bagger).
