Had a good showing in the Missouri State Tournament (team event). We are currently in 6th place with 2 more weekends left to the tournament (team name is "Pindowners"). (http://www.mousbc.org/standingsopen2012results-event.php?eventCategory=1&Search=Search)
This was my 1st full year bowling left handed and I finished my leagues with a 170 and a 173 average. I felt like I was turning the corner on my spare shooting at the end of the season, and really felt like my scores were starting to pick up. Now I am having problems with my right rotator cuff in my right shoulder, so I haven't been able to practice in a couple of weeks and I don't know if I will be able to bowl over the summer.
Great story! I'm a lefty myself, but once bowled a 210 with my right hand in open bowling. It was somewhat of a fluke though, as I couldn't keep up anywhere close to that in league conditions. Best of luck as you approach a 200 average!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Joseph. I have been posting to this blog for quite a while, and haven't got too many comments. I am starting a PBA Experience league tonight, and it will be interesting to see how I do. I think we will be rolling on the Scorpion pattern. I am not going in with any expectation other than trying to improve my game. If I win anything, that will just be a bonus.
